Email Interface

ByRSVP supports the sending of SMS text messages through a simple email interface. Just compose an email message addressed to a special email address, and put the content of your message in the email body.

The special email address has the following format:

The <emailkey> is something like a password. It is checked by ByRSVP to determine if the email comes from an authorized sender. The key identifies the User Account that has been so granted by a Business Account to send SMS text messages using its credits

The <phonenumber> is the mobile phone number you want to send the message to. At this time, ByRSVP only allows Singapore mobile phone numbers.

The entire email body make up the content of the SMS text message to be sent. Do be mindful of extra spaces, empty lines, email signatures, and any other extra texts, as everything will be converted into the SMS text messages. SMS text messages are charged according to message length; Therefore, long SMS text messages may cost multiple credits to send.

ByRSVP ignores the email subject field.
