Auto-Reply SMS Error

Were you directed to this webpage due to an erroneous SMS message that you sent to ByRSVP?

You sent an SMS to ByRSVP, but your SMS was not understood.

ByRSVP processes incoming SMS messages automatically, and they need to be in a certain format for our system to understand them. The SMS message may be an instruction to ByRSVP, or a message intended to be directed to a ByRSVP customer.

Please check your message and send again. The most common type of messages sent to ByRSVP are:

• Request to unsubscribe (stop receiving SMS) from a ByRSVP customer
  Send a SMS to 82228220 containing the text STOP <code>, where <code> is the short code that represents the customer. You should have been given the code in bulk SMS messages sent by this customer. If not, please contact us for assistance.
• Request to stop receiving all SMS messages from ByRSVP
  This is a quick way to add your phone number into ByRSVP's global black list. Send a SMS to 82228220 containing the text UNSUB GLOBAL. This will black list the phone number from which you sent this SMS. Note that ByRSVP will send one last SMS to acknowledge this request.

Erroneous Messages

Please note that once you send an erroneous SMS to ByRSVP, your phone number will be placed in an "error-ignore" list. You will receive an auto-reply to inform you of the error, and to inform that subsequent errors will be ignored. The "error-ignore" list tells ByRSVP to ignore any error messages from numbers found in the list. If you do subsequently send a message that ByRSVP can understand, then it will be processed accordingly, and your number will be removed from the "error-ignore" list.

Please remember that messages you send to ByRSVP are processed by a computer system. It does not reach a person. It is important that your message is properly formatted, otherwise it will be ignored.
